When you move across the country, you always want to take a little slice of home with you. That’s what our clients were hoping for with this project. We took an outdated Mediterranean style house - complete with antiquated wallpaper, carpet, and soffits - and turned it into a stunning space, custom built for a family of six.

This whole-house remodel included several new design ideas we created specifically for our clients. The hood in the kitchen mirrors the fireplace we built, while the floating shelves lend to an airy, open feeling. Contemporary features like the slat wall in the entryway complement the home’s relaxed vibe bringing both balance and warmth to the space. Neutral colors contrast with deep charcoals for a subtle modernist flair. Working with this client was both a joy and inspiration. She came into the project with ideas but gave us the freedom to add in our own creativity. The best part was our client’s reaction. Seeing a family fall in love with their home always makes the months of planning worth it.
